Would you accept Him as your Savior?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll be honest, if\u00a0 I were living during Biblical times, I&#8217;m not sure if I would believe if people told me about Jesus. I could imagine myself being skeptical, thinking that people were exaggerating about Jesus&#8217;s healings. However, seeing is believing. If I actually saw somebody being healed, I would believe. I could also imagine myself believing if I encountered the blind man (or somebody like this) described in John 9 (quoted below). If I&#8217;d seen this man, blind since birth, before his healing, and then encountered him after he&#8217;d been healed&#8230;well, I&#8217;d be stunned, shocked, and then I&#8217;d fall on my knees, praising my Savior!<\/p>\n<p><strong>So, if you were alive while Jesus walked on this earth as a man, would you have accepted Him as your Savior? Would you believe?<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"stcpDiv\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"http:\/\/ceceliadowdy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/johns-quest.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/ceceliadowdy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/johns-quest.jpg\" width=\"160\" height=\"259\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Johns-Quest-HEARTSONG-PRESENTS-ebook\/dp\/B008UU4Y36\/ref=sr_1_4?s=digital-text&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1351421925&amp;sr=1-4&amp;keywords=cecelia+dowdy\">~Cecelia Dowdy~<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind<\/h3>\n<p><em><strong>John 9:1-12 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. <sup>2\u00a0<\/sup>His disciples asked him, \u201cRabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cNeither this man nor his parents sinned,\u201d said Jesus, \u201cbut this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. <sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. <sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man\u2019s eyes. <sup>7\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cGo,\u201d he told him, \u201cwash in the Pool of Siloam\u201d (this word means \u201cSent\u201d). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><sup>8\u00a0<\/sup>His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, \u201cIsn\u2019t this the same man who used to sit and beg?\u201d <sup>9\u00a0<\/sup>Some claimed that he was.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Others said, \u201cNo, he only looks like him.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>But he himself insisted, \u201cI am the man.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><sup>10\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cHow then were your eyes opened?\u201d they asked.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><sup>11\u00a0<\/sup>He replied, \u201cThe man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash.
