I was reading through this the other day, <strong>and wondered if the rocks covering the dead king are still there, today, literally? What do you think?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"passage-display-bcv\"><em>Joshua<\/em> <em>8:28-29<\/em><\/span><em><span class=\"passage-display-version\">New International Version (NIV)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span id=\"en-NIV-6031\" class=\"text Josh-8-28\"><sup class=\"versenum\">28\u00a0<\/sup>So Joshua burned Ai<sup class=\"footnote\" data-link=\"[&lt;a href=&quot;#fen-NIV-6031a&quot; title=&quot;See footnote a&quot;&gt;a&lt;\/a&gt;]\" data-fn=\"#fen-NIV-6031a\">[<a title=\"See footnote a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Joshua+8%3A28-29&amp;version=NIV#fen-NIV-6031a\">a<\/a>]<\/sup> and made it a permanent heap of ruins, a desolate place to this day.<\/span> <\/em><span id=\"en-NIV-6032\" class=\"text Josh-8-29\"><em><sup class=\"versenum\">29\u00a0<\/sup>He impaled the body of the king of Ai on a pole and left it there until evening. At sunset, Joshua ordered them to take the body from the pole and throw it down at the entrance of the city gate.<\/em> <em><strong>And they raised a large pile of rocks over it, which remains to this day.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Is Ai&#8217;s grave still there, to this day? Is that pile of rocks still there?
