Tagged!

I’ve been tagged by Robin Bayne to tell six book related things about myself.

1. I’m a book addict. I have more books in my house than I’ll probably ever read in my lifetime. In spite of this, I still purchase books every month!

2. As a child, Laura Ingalls Wilder was one of my favorite authors.

3. Currently, about 90% of the books I read each year are Christian Fiction titles.

4. While growing up, I obtained most of my reading material from the bookmobile that stopped through my neighborhood every two weeks.

5. I ALMOST NEVER read books more than once.

6. My love of writing stemmed from my love of books.

Marcher Lord Press

A new speculative Christian fiction publisher launched yesterday. If any of you are fond of fantasy/sci-fi/weird stuff, then you should check out these books:
Marcher Lord Press

I happened to meet Jeff Gerke, the founder, at the ACFW conference last month. I was sitting next to him during the shuttle ride to the airport. Nice guy! I believe his publication business will be successful, because, currently, there are no other publishers that focus exclusively on Christian speculative fiction.

Due to my content edits, and going to the conference, I never drew the names for my last book giveaway. I plan on doing that soon, also, I plan on posting another book giveaway within the next few days or so.

Milk Money Cover Mockup!

Here is a mockup for the cover to my next novel, Milk Money! This is not the final cover! I’ve already asked if the cows could be changed from brown and white to black and white, and they told me they could change that! I’ve also asked for a change to one of the words on the backcover and they said they would do it!

Doesn’t it look nice though? It looks refreshing and cute! I love it!

Here’s another conference pic for you to enjoy! Pam stopped by the conference to meet some authors! She’s won books on my blog and I was thrilled that she came through to meet us! In the photo above is Pam, Susan Page Davis, and me!

I plan on blogging about more of my conference experience next week. I’ve got content edits due October First and the edits are requiring most of my attention at the moment!
