Have you ever wondered what your life would have been like if \u2013 in the past – when you were facing a big decision \u2013 if you\u2019d decided differently \u2013 what would your life be like today?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heaven help me, this story was amazing! The Magic of Lemon Drop Pie<\/a> is about Lolly, a young woman who is dissatisfied with her life. She wonders how her life would have been if she\u2019d made different choices. One of her biggest regrets is that things didn\u2019t work out with Rory Shaw, her childhood crush. Rory was her neighbor and her friend. Her eccentric aunt gives her a gift \u2013 3 magical lemon drops. When you eat one before bed, think about one of the big decisions in your life \u2013 what if you\u2019d decided differently? The lemon drop will allow you to spend one day in your \u201cpresent\u201d life in an alternate-type universe. This \u201calternate universe” would show how your life would have been like, if you\u2019d made a different decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lolly is full of hopes and dreams \u2013 so for three nights \u2013 she\u2019s given the chance to see how her lost dreams would have played out if she\u2019d embraced her decisions and pursued her desires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I loved most about this book was that it seemed so realistic. I believe most of us wonder \u2013 what would have happened if? Do you have certain dreams that you\u2019ve always wanted to pursue?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lolly is dedicated to her family. Her dedication is over the top, and it really affects her life. The family diner means so much to her and she knows how much her father wants their establishment to be a success. She gets up early every morning to bake six lemon meringue pies \u2013 using her mom\u2019s secret recipe. The pies are served in their diner \u2013 a favorite for many of their customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another reason I enjoyed this story was that it mentioned food \u2013 a lot! I love foodie-themed stories. So, if you\u2019ve enjoyed the novels that I\u2019ve written<\/a>, then you\u2019ll love this book!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Magic of Lemon Drop Pie<\/a> teaches us that sometimes it\u2019s okay to pursue your dreams \u2013 although placing the needs of others before your own is noble \u2013 it\u2019s not always the right decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the way, I noticed that The Magic of Lemond Drop Pie<\/a> will be made into a Hallmark movie. The premise sounds like it might be a nice fit for Hallmark Movies and Mysteries!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
