The Blacksmith’s Bride – A Video.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As stated in previous newsletters, I’m still hard at work on The Blacksmith’s Bride<\/a> – a historical novel set in 1867 Philadelphia. The novel is set to be released at the end of October. I’m enjoying writing this story. The Blacksmith’s Bride<\/a> has a bit of suspense. Here’s a short video<\/a> that I posted on Youtube about my novel. Share the video with your friends!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bathroom Repairs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you like shopping for fixtures?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re still in the process of repairing our bathroom. Right now, we’re choosing fixtures and other things. We shopped at Floor and Decor – see pics above!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hate shopping – the only thing that I enjoy shopping for is books.<\/em> It was a chore to go to the Floor and Decor store to choose tiles and grout. We had to go both Saturday and Sunday! We took a friend with us. Our friend felt that the tile that I chose for the bathroom floor was a bit too bold. Since I’d decided on a black and white theme, I tried to choose a pattern that made me feel<\/em> something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was looking through the tiles, I didn’t feel a thing. I couldn’t tell if anything looked “nice”. There was a sense of nothingness within me while gazing at hundreds of tiles. It was so overwhelming! I just wanted to go home and work on my novel <\/a>or read a book!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m starting to change my mind about the entire bathroom. I wondered if I should have chosen brushed nickel (instead of black) for the faucets and chosen a blue theme. I saw a few blue-patterned tiles that I really liked! I can’t change my mind now, though. We’ve already purchased a bunch of stuff and need to stay on track. It took such a long time to choose everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only thing left for us to choose is the paint. The contractor implied that we didn’t need to choose that right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contractors will probably start sometime after October 10th – by then, all of the stuff for the remodel should have been delivered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember to keep our country in prayer as all\/some of these changes take place! At times, our country does not run smoothly! Also, remember to pray for all that are suffering in our nation! Be sure to check on your friends and loved ones to be sure they are okay!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
