I offer services on full and partial manuscripts as well as publication advice. I’m eager to work with new clients!

I can only offer advice on fiction – preferably romance. I DO NOT offer advice on non-fiction or children’s books.

I charge $.007 per word for sensitivity reading – the same rate applies for copyediting.

I’ve been writing for thirty years. While networking with other writers, I offer advice and encouragement. I have had authors who told me they’ve followed my advice and have gotten their novels published.

I’ve been published by three traditional/major publishers:

Harlequin (Love Inspired imprint)
Doubleday (Crossings and Black Expressions Book Club imprints)
Barbour Publishing

I’ve also self/indie published several books on Amazon via my company, Divine Desserts Publishing, LLC.

Currently, here’s what I’m offering – if you need a service that’s not listed, then please email me and we can work out specifics:

1. Critiques – full and partial manuscripts and proposals.
2. Publication advice (partial and full manuscripts) – if you want to get your novel published by a traditional publisher – I can look at your proposal/manuscript and give feedback. When I use the term traditional publisher, I’m referring to publishers that offer thousand(s) of dollars as an advance and they mass-produce your book and it’s distributed nationally/internationally in most major bookstores. 
3. Publication advice (tips and tricks) – if you don’t want a critique or edit, but, want to get your novel published (either by a traditional publisher, or, self publish via Amazon) – you may speak with me about how to publish your book. I’m happy to set up a phone conversation/zoom/video chat/Facebook chat. We can talk and I can give you advice which I’ve gleaned from my years of experience.
