For several years I’ve been hearing about how great fresh Krispy Kreme donuts taste. But, alas, I’ve never had one fresh from a Krispy Kreme shop. I’ve only had them when purchased from the grocery store.

Grocery store Krispy Kremes do NOT do justice to the Krispy Kreme reputation! My family and I had breakfast at Krispy Kreme this morning in Matthews, NC, near Charlotte, NC. We enjoyed the glazed, lemon-filled, and custard filled donuts! My hubby enjoyed one of the berry-flavored chiller drinks and I enjoyed a tasty cup of freshly-brewed coffee!

I did manage to pop into the Family Christian Store for a hot minute! They have a fairly good Christian fiction section, but I did not purchase any books since I was in a hurry.
