I’m doing another book giveaway. I have not posted the reviews for all of the books listed below, however, I’ll probably post reviews for some of them within the next few days.
Also, I’ll be giving away copies of my own novel periodically to those who comment on this blog. You can comment on any blog post to be entered to win a copy of my novel, John’s Quest.
Also, if you win one of the titles listed below, when I send the title to you, I MIGHT include a copy of my own novel for you to enjoy!
Reading Michael Landon Jr’s and Tracie Peterson’s novel, One More Sunrise, has gotten me to thinking about angels! So…
If you’re interested in winning one of the novels listed below then I’d like for you to leave a comment about the following subject matter: Angels. I know that’s a broad topic, but I’ve heard some who say they thought they’ve seen an angel. Have you ever felt as if you “seen” or “felt/sensed” an angel’s presence? Or have you known somebody who’s had an angelic experience? Or, you can simply leave your thoughts about angels in general.
I’ll start by giving my thoughts on the subject. Angels have always fascinated me. Since angels are in the Bible, I can only assume that they are around us, helping us, protecting us, although, I don’t ever actually “feel” or “see” their presence. Also, from my Bible reading, I’ve noticed that the angels mentioned are usually male (like Gabriel and Michael).
Feel free to leave your comments abouts angels. It doensn’t have to be anything deep or earth-shattering! You can even mention your favorite angel story from the Bible, if you’d like, or whatever angelic subject you’d like to comment on!
Here are the books I’m giving away. When you comment, be sure to leave an email address so that I may contact you if you win! Also, be sure to let me know which novel(s) you’re interested in winning!
One More Sunrise by Michael Landon Jr. and Tracie Peterson
Treasures Of The North by Tracie Peterson

Like you said, Cecelia, the Bible teaches about angels so I know they are doing God’s bidding, but I’ve never seen or felt their presence.
A few years ago our minister did a sermon series on Angels, and I began reading some great resources like Billy Graham’s book entitled “Angels” and a radio transcript by Bible teacher Nancy Leigh DeMoss. And I’ve heard stories about how missionaries in danger were protected by angels. So this is indeed a fascinating and comforting topic!
Thanks for the opportunity to win books, Cecelia! My choices would be any of the following:
One More Sunrise
Treasures Of The North
The Perfect Life

Hi – I’m thankful for the angels that God has watching out for us. There’s been times when I’ve seen an accident up ahead and, though not glad for other’s troubles, have been glad for God’s protecting hand and have thought of the Amy Grant song “Angels watching over me”.
As far as the books go, my first choice would be “The Perfect Life”, second choice “One More Sunrise”.

Cecelia, wow it has taken me forever to figure out how to leave a comment here.. so now that I have it figured out I just wanted to comment on that and then go back and take a look at all you have.. I would love to get in on your giveaway, I cant wait for your next book to come out as I so enjoyed your First Mates. God bless you. Shirley Lewis
Cecelia, I believe in angels as they are Biblical. I know people who have strongly sensed folks who they loved dearly and have passed on. Are these angels? I don’t know.
I do have a problem though with the deification of angels in recent years.
I’d love to read Murder on the Old Bunions.
I agree with Patricia. I think we need to be careful not to deify angels or put them in the place of God.
I agree that the trend towards worshipping angels is a dangerous one. Anyone who has read the Bible knows that even the angels bow down to the One who created them. We can’t get caught up in worshipping the creation over the Creator.
writevision2000@yahoo.com. I’m interested in My Soul Cries Out by Sherri Lewis.

I’m interested in Sherri Lewis’ My Soul Cries Out.
I believe that when I am feeling something that it is the Holy Spirit but do believe that angels are present and assigned to us and that they watch over, help, assist and deflect situations or actions in our lives. Like the story in the Old Testament of either Elijah or Elisha and the army of angels sent to protect them.
Sometimes when I’m at church and we are singing hymns I get goosebumps and all choked up ~ I get the feeling that there is a heavenly “choir” siging along with us.
I also feel like my family members who have passed on are sometimes close by ~ that they my angels who bring me comfort and peace.
I would love to win anyone of the books that you have listed.

I believe that their are angels protecting us and I believe that their have been times in my life when I was surrounded by a protection that I could not see but did feel. Was that God’s hand or Angels? I don’t know the answer.
I would enjoy any of the books you are giving away. Thank you for the
When my son turned 16 he was in a car accident where he rolled our truck end over end. Everyone who saw the truck after the accident said that they couldn’t beleive that he had lived through the accident with very few injuries. I really feel that there were angels with my son that day.
What a interesting topic, Cecilia. The Bible does teach us about Angels and talks to us about them so we know that G-d has sent them to us. I have never seen one but I have felt the presence of one protecting me.
What a blessing your book giveaways are.
Blessings,
Jo

Thanks for posting all of your wonderful comments. I just wanted to step in and say that I definitely agree that we should NOT deify angels! The only ONE we should worship is Jesus, the Almighty God!
sorry I forgot to leave a comment about angels.
I beleive there are angels but we dont always see them.
I remember a missionary visiting once and telling the story of a man in a south american setting was going to be arrested for being a christian the idea was arrested and killed but when the army got there to arrest him they didn’t they reported back to the one in charge they couldn’t carry out there orders cos there were so many people around him protecting him. At the time he was alone but There were people around the world praying and what the men sa were angels protecting him.
I believe they come and help people this way.
I also think we have people who come into our lives for reason who are like angels. it may only be to give a smile or even hold open a door but at the time they do it it can brighten up someones day.
the books im interested are in the top post. Im sorry i miss read.
I like the books that you are giving away. Did we have to list the ones we really liked. REally any of them are fine to win. I have read any.
I can’t verify that it definately was an angel but I had someone chase me down in a parking lot to give me some food – I couldn’t afford at the time – I was surprised took the food and when I looked up to find that person and thank them. I couldn’t see where they went. There were really, really fast. It was almost spooky but peaceful at the same time. Any I don’t know if that qualifies.
Please put me in for the drawing.

Forgot to say I’m most interested in My Soul Cries Out by Sherri Lewis and The Perfect Life by Robin Lee Hatcher.
In general though, I just love Christian romance and free books so I’m open!
Hey,
I’d love Robin Lee Hatchers’s Book or a copy of My Soul Cries Out.
Thanks,
Rhonda
I have experienced angels first hand so I truly believe in them. When my daughter and I had an accident in 2003 and our car flipped upside down, angels wrapped both my daughter and I in their wings and protected us. If not, my daughter would have instantly broke her neck. We both walked away from that accident unharmed but the car was totaled.
I would love to win a book.
I am an avid reader and right now trying to get author’s I love noticed by donating some autographed books and other books to our Royal Ranger silent auction/spaghetti supper to raise money for campout to take boys to.
God Bless.
I have had some experiences where I have felt a presence, especially when I was younger. I have always believed they were a very real part of my life.
i would choose either My soul cries out or The Perfect Life
I thought it would leave my email address….it is martha @ lclink (dot) com (without the spaces
I believe angels are real and all around us, helping us, protecting us, redirecting us. The Bible has many stories of angels delivering messages from God.
This is a neat giveaway. I’m interested in The Perfect Life or Murder on the Old Bunions. My email address is: gsgodkid at cfl dot rr dot com
I believe in angels they are around us daily they are that little voice that we hear in side of us all. I enjoyed watching this tv show called touched By an Angel it gave me a warm feeling to know that other people believe in angels as well.
This is my first visit to your blog. I found it quite interesting.
I believe in angels. I am sure I have met some. At the time of my paternal grandmother’s death, I saw her enter heaven, and there were angels. I have encountered some people along the way who must certainly have been angels, too. The Bible tells us that angels inhabit time and eternity, and I believe it.
If I am selected for a book, I would love to receive One More Sunrise to see how that book deals with angels. I write Christian fiction, but I haven’t tried to include angels in any of my stories. My e-mail is katherine@lkharms.com.
I find the comments interesting because I am currently writing a screeplay about angels in our everyday life. I have believed in angels since a child, and often felt the presence of my guardian angel in times of danger, temptation, or trouble, but also when I rejoice in the Lord, my angel rejoices with me. Angels are pure spirit, so they are not really male or female, they have simply appeared at times in that form for our sake. Elaine
