Question: What are you doing on this New Year’s Day?
I’m going to be baking chicken and I placed black-eyed peas in the slow cooker. I might watch a movie with my family later on today, too. I might even get some writing done! The Twilight Zone Marathon is on the Science Fiction Channel today, so I might catch a few hours of that, too!

Thoughts in Progress
I’m spending the day by myself, for the most part. Reading, watching movies & contemplating 2011 are on the list. There’s room for some spontaneous fun. We’ll see what happens. Happy New Year to you.

After spending last night with the congregation my brother-in-law and his family attend, we’re just moving slowly today enjoying time with the family.
We’re watching season 1 of the TV show, “What’s Happening!” and having bean dip and nutter butter cookies for breakfast. For real. 🙂
Of course, I’ll write something in my journal at some point.
What my husband and I are accomplishing today: being a present uncle and aunt.
