    Hello Cecelia,
    Happy Thanksgiving,
I have been so blessed. I have cooked for 25-30 family members for the last 30 years and loved every minute of it. This year I am cooking for 12 of my immediate family. May husband, two sons, six grandchildren and my father. This is our first Thanksgiving with out our mother. I has been very hard with out her.
Tonight four of my granddaughters have come to spend the night so that they can help me with the dinner preperations tomorrow morning.
We will be making the dressing for the turkey and will also have ham with pineapple and marachino cherries.
Sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, corn and carrots with raisins, cranberries, applesauce, and ambrosia.
For dessert home made banana cream pie, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cream cheese roll and also ice cream to celebrate my sons birthday! It should be the bomb. Dinner will be at 5:00pm sharp.

    Hi, Sandy!

Thanks much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment!! I’m so sorry that you lost your mom. I can imagine it being hard to celebrate this holiday without her. I’ll say a prayer for you and your family. It’s certainly a blessing to spend the holiday with the rest of your loving family members. I wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving!
