When I went to the mailbox after work today, I was pleased to see the mailman left me a little treat! The second half of my advance for Bittersweet Memories arrived! Yaaay! 🙂

Tired
Since I’m in between deadlines right now (finished content edits October 1, and haven’t received copy edits back yet) I’ve been getting up early in the morning and working on the story I blogged about here.
I’ve also been reading some great books lately! I recently finished Dance Into Destiny by Sherri Lewis! I plan on blogging about that novel soon!

I’m toying with the idea of doing a series of posts about my journey to becoming a published author! I’d do the posts intermittently between my book reviews and book giveaways. Somebody was asking me about how I got started writing and why I wanted to become a published author in the first place. The question spurred this idea!

Content Edits and Cover Art
I received the content edits for Bittersweet Memories. They’re due back to the editor October 1. I also need to complete the cover art sheet for this novel, too.
I recently finished A Suspicion Of Strawberries by Lynette Sowell. I plan on blogging about that novel soon.
Milk Money
I completed the final read through for Milk Money today. Needless to say, I’m feeling pretty desensitized right now. I’ll be doing another book giveaway shortly.

I received the second half of my advance for Milk Money yesterday!
I’m by no means finished with it though. I’ll probably still have copy edits, plus another read-through or two before it’s totally done!
